Architectural & Life Safety
EEIS Consulting Engineers, Inc. (EEIS) is the prime consultant on most of its projects. As the leader of the design team, EEIS and its design managers combine EEIS’ in-house disciplines—architecture; civil, structural, and mechanical process engineering; and piping design—with its skilled team of subconsultants to provide mechanical HVAC and electrical engineering services. When the project requires it, EEIS brings in additional scientists and subconsultants to provide surveying, geotechnical services, cost estimating, project control and scheduling specialists, interior design, hazardous materials sampling, and for health care projects, medical furnishings and equipment designers. EEIS quickly assembles its design team based on the requirements for each project. EEIS works with each client to determine their design priorities for a project. Every project is managed to balance the client’s priorities for maintenance and operation, aesthetics, and cost.
EEIS has designed a wide range of projects throughout the urban and rural areas of Alaska for commercial, industrial, petroleum, municipal, and other clients since 1985. The locations and types of project vary widely: buildings for drilling and production support, truckable steel modules, modular personnel camps on the North Slope, an office building in Yakutat, office building additions and/or remodels in Anchorage and Cordova, the State Courthouse in Bethel, and corporate hangars for fixed base operations in Anchorage and Fairbanks.Learn more about Other EEIS Services
