EEIS Engineering Services, Inc. (EEIS) civil engineers have provided civil engineering for a wide variety of civil engineering projects for residential, commercial, military, industrial, and petroleum facilities throughout rural and urban Alaska. Civil design capabilities include site planning for subdivisions, parking lots, access roads, cul-de-sacs, sidewalks, stairways, retaining walls, drainage systems, and water and sewer utilities. EEIS can also provide site feasibility studies and the design of thermosyphon cooling systems, site and security fencing, and fuel tank and tank farm containment areas. Working with the EEIS structural engineers, EEIS civil engineers prepare plans for pile-supported foundations for buildings, hangars, tank farms, and other facilities.
EEIS offers on-site engineering support during construction, including material development oversight, survey quality control, and construction work plan development. Municipal permitting coordination is provided for fills and grading, water and sewer systems, roads, rights-of-way, and wetlands. EEIS can assist with the development of federal stormwater pollution prevention plans (SWPPPs) and provide oversight for SWPPP compliance during construction.
EEIS civil engineers, working with EEIS mechanical process engineers, provide designs for tank farms and develop state and federal Spill Prevention and Facility Response Plans.Learn more about EEIS Projects
